Photo Bomb!

Thanks for checking out the latest edition of Photo Bomb!, your weekly roundup of all movie-related photos floating around the internet.

This week, it's another strong crop, with lots of great photos on display. We start with the actual movie photos. This week, featured films include "Ice Age 4: Continental Drift", "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", "The Expendables 2", "Brave" and "The Amazing Spider-Man". Also, new posters from "Men in Black 3", "Chernobyl Diaries", "Lovelace", "The Amazing Spider-Man", and "A Fantastic Fear of Everything".

And just as icing on the cake, as has become standard tradition with this post, we also have some semi-movie-related photos that aren't exactly from the movies. This week, Scarlett Johansson receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (Thursday), as well as some really cool Avengers-themed movie poster mash-ups.

Check out the entire filmstrip after the break!

So let's start with the new photos for the fourth installment of the Ice Age franchise, "Ice Age: Continental Drift". Just some silly little character shots here. I saw the first film and was content with it. That was really all I needed from that franchise though. But I realize that younger people love these characters, so as long as they're bringin' in the bucks, why stop? (Filmofilia)

Next, one quick shot from "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". And actually, since my comments for both films were going to be similar, we'll just go ahead and lump in the one photo for "The Expendables 2" as well. But at this point, I'm almost just convinced that these two films are releasing photos every week solely for this post - but they're right, I'll keep putting them up and giving them that free publicity! (SuperHeroHype)

Next, a couple of new character photos from Disney/Pixar's upcoming "Brave". These feature a couple different scenes than we might have seen before, but more than anything, just showcase that amazing animation. (Pixar Planet)

We'll kind of lump this next group together too. First, a couple new photos from Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man". These are from a couple of different sources, but the first set features more of Andrew Garfield/Peter Parker/Spider-Man, while the second batch is a nice look at The Lizard. We just recently saw a bit more of this stuff in the latest trailer, so it's no surprise that a few photos have been released alongside. (Parker: Geek Tyrant; The Lizard: Nerd Bastards)

Jumping right into the Movie Posters section, we'll start right where we left off. This is officially the international poster being released for "The Amazing Spider-Man", but it offers little variation from what we've seen stateside so far. (MovieWeb)

Here is the international poster for "Men in Black III". I don't know about you, but does this seem like a really weird poster for this movie? I'm sure there are researched reasons why (aliens don't play as well overseas as do high-tech action-y gadgets?), but either way, if I wasn't too familiar with this movie, I don't think this poster would get me too pumped for this. (MovieWeb)

This is a poster for Oren Peli's upcoming "Chernobyl Diaries". This is the same guy that brought us "Paranormal Activity", so we know the guy understands tension and low-budget scare tactics. Not sure what this movie does for me - I love the Chernobyl idea, I just think I would have went a little different route with it - but the poster is solid for this type of film. (Fangoria)

Here's the new poster for "A Fantastic Fear of Everything". We showed off this trailer a week or so ago, and it looks like a really trippy film. The poster seems right inline with the imagery we saw in the trailer. (Geek Tyrant)

Lastly, my favorite poster of the bunch, "Lovelace". I know, I know. Look, don't get hung-up on the fact that this is about Linda Lovelace, famous porn star and activist. I've heard this film focuses much more on her tormented personal relationships and her later life as an activist. The film has a really solid cast, and I actually think there will be a good story told that many people aren't aware of. And mostly, I've never really been attracted to Amanda Seyfried, but I think she looks amazing in this poster. She won me over. (Hollywood Reporter)

And as our little cap to this post, here's a couple of photos from yesterday's event that presented Scarlett Johansson with her very own Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not sure what it takes to get accepted on the sidewalk, but good for her. That's got to be a fantastic moment for her. And nice of Jeremy Renner to show up for support as well. (On the Red Carpet)

And finally, how about some fan-made "The Avengers" movie poster mash-ups. As you'll see, these are all other famous movie posters, altered as to be for "The Avengers". Check out the source site below for nearly 50 different selections - I just picked out a handful of my very favorites. P.S. I ranked these, the first one below is my overall favorite, and the last one is my 12th favorite. I would really like to own a handful of these. Which ones do you like? (Empire)

So that's what we have this week. Anything that got your interest levels up for any projects?
