Thanks for checking out this week's edition of the Slackers Selection CinemaCast!
This week, two new films hit theaters, but none any of us were too overly interested in: "Taken 2" and "Frankenweenie". We go over some reviews and the box office gains for each in their opening weekends though.
Next week's lineup includes a pretty solid grouping of films, including "Argo", "Seven Psychopaths", "Sinister", and "Here Comes the Boom". We go over which we'll be seeing.
We didn't get around to much outside of theaters, but do briefly get into "The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1" and "Red Lights".
With this being the first week of October though, we finish up this edition with something a bit different than normal and detail some of our favorite horror films and greatest horror movie experiences - most of which make for pretty great childhood tales!
