Photo Bomb!

Thanks for checking out the latest edition of Photo Bomb!, your weekly roundup of all movie-related photos floating around the internet.

This week, lots more new material for you to sink your teeth into. The quantity might not be as high as in recent weeks, but I feel the quality has been raised, with many of the photos and posters coming from solid-looking movies. Included below, we have photos from such films as "Total Recall", "Frozen Ground", "Taken 2", "The Dark Knight Rises", "Piranha 3DD", "Hitchcock", and "Under the Skin". We also have a handful of new posters released for films "Sin City 2", "Machete Kills", "Skyfall", "Katy Perry's Part of Me", "Anchorman 2", some character posters for "The Amazing Spider-Man", and the newest poster for Ridley Scott's "Prometheus".

After the break, check out the full filmstrip of this week's notable photos and posters!

First, we'll start with the new photos released for the upcoming remake of "Total Recall". I'm liking everything I've seen from this film so far. It looks like it's going to take itself a little more seriously than its predecessor, but I still have strong interest in checking this one out. The film is set to release August 3, 2012. Next, the first images from the upcoming images from the crime thriller "Frozen Ground", starring Nicolas Cage and John Cusack. Looks like it could be a good film for these actors who could both benefit from a solid looking film right now. I don't think it's going to be very strong box office-wise, but I still like what I'm seeing from these photos. (Voltage Pictures)

This is our first shot from Liam Neeson's next follow-up, "Taken 2". The film follows Neeson's character who this time is kidnapped by associates of the men he killed last time around. Also, his daughter is there to help this time. Seems like a cheesy storyline, but Neeson is great in this role and I'm sure the action will be fun. I'm interested to see more from this film. (Entertainment Weekly)

At this point we've seen a decent amount of Bane and Catwoman, so the images aren't as exciting as they were a month or so. But these are clear new characters from the three main subjects of "The Dark Knight Rises". This is set to hit theaters July 20, 2012. (SuperHeroHype)

Next it's a school of photos from "Piranha 3DD". As many of these photos show, the film will star David Hasselhoff, David Koechner, Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, Katrina Bowden, and Danielle Panabaker. And you can get the idea from the photos - boobs and blood. Expect to get plenty of that and not much else. It hits theaters June 1, 2012. (Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide)

This is part one of the new photos for Scarlett Johansson movies section. We'll start with the first shot of her as Janet Leigh in the upcoming "Hitchcock". (Yahoo! Movies)

And here's a photo of her as an alien in human skin in Jonathan Glazer's "Under the Skin". This one comes out later this year, while we still have to wait a while for "Hitchcock". (Vulture)

On to the movie poster section, where we'll start with two films from Robert Rodriguez. The first is the follow up to Frank Miller adapted story Sin City, with "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For". We recently got an official release date for this one too - October 4, 2013. Still a ways away, but after so much speculation it's nice to know this is finally happening. (JoBlo)

Next it's the less exciting poster for "Machete Kills". It's nothing exciting, but it's fine for a first teaser poster. Plus we get an official look at the cast - of which, I really love seeing Mel Gibson's name up there. And as I stated just before, if nothing else, it's nice to get assurance that this is actually happening. (JoBlo)

Here's another teaser poster, this time, the first for the newest James Bond installment, "Skyfall". We've already seen a lot of photos from the film, but this is the first poster. Again, it's just a teaser, but it captures the essence of James Bond and shows off the logo. I like it. (007.com)

Here's one that you might not have been clamoring for, but Photo Bomb! doesn't judge. Either way, here's the first poster for her upcoming documentary "Katy Perry: Part of Me". It looks very much in-line with other footage I've seen for the film. (Twitter via @KatyPerry)

We just got an announcement a few weeks ago, but already the studio has put together this teaser poster (and supposedly a teaser trailer in front of "The Dictator") for "Anchorman 2". It's nothing exciting, but that's fine. The entire news team and director (Adam McKay) is back, and that's what's important. How many feet is that? (Empire)

Finally, it's a few more posters for the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man". This time time, they're international character posters, featuring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans. I like these posters a lot. They look good. (Latino Review)

Here's that new poster for Ridley Scott's latest, "Prometheus". I'm not sure of my thoughts on this. On one hand, it does look epic, and you can really see Scott's sci-fi style in all of it. But on the other hand, I just feel like it's too "cool" for this movie. Other than Scott's name and the title "Alien" at the top, it just kind of looks like another action sci-fi movie poster. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it. I just feel like I want it to be more classic and iconic. Maybe more simple or something? What do you guys think? (EMPIRE)

And, because that all went so well, here's some fun photos for you. These are all portraits by Kirk Demarais. It's a brilliant idea; I look at these and think why didn't I think of this?! This is a sampling of his work, but if you go to his site, there are a lot more selections, with prints of all available for purchase. (Official Site)

So that's what we're looking at this week. What do you guys think? What are you favorite photos?
