Photo Bomb!

Thanks for checking out the latest edition of Photo Bomb!, your weekly roundup of all movie-related photos floating around the internet.

It's been another strong week in the photo department, as a lot of interesting looking films have released some new photos. In the mix for this post are new images from "Django Unchained", "The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn: Part 2", "Les Miserables", "Pain and Gain", and "The Lone Ranger". We also have some promo images for the films "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Dark Knight Rises". And new posters for films "Hotel Transylvania", "The Expendables 2", and "G.I. Joe: Retribution".

And though they're not exactly movie related, per say, also attached below are the first photos of The Avengers, recently completed and now showcasing at Madame Tussauds House of Wax; as well as The Hulk gracing the cover of the latest issue of Muscle & Fitness Magazine.

Check out the full filmstrip after the break!

Let's start with the newest photos from Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film, "Django Unchained". These are the first set/character photos released for the film, and I know, personally, I've been dying to see what the style for this film was going to be. The first photo is that of Leonardo DiCaprio in the role of a villain plantation owner. This is a very unique role for DiCaprio - both in character and style - but I think he's a really good actor, and I'm excited to see his turn in this film. The second photo features Christoph Waltz and Jamie Foxx. The former is a bounty hunter, and the latter is a freed slave who goes under the tutelage of Waltz' character to learn his trade and save his bride. While I still think Will Smith is a fool for turning down Foxx's role, I have to say that both Waltz and Foxx look very at home in this picture and I think they'll both be solid players. (WhatCulture)

Next, we have probably the two most uninteresting photos I've ever seen released for a film. But I know how much people love the Twilight, so I figured I better include them. The first photo features Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as Edward and Bella, while the second features Taylor Lautner as Jacob. Frankly, neither of these pictures look any different to me than what we've seen in the previous films... (GossipCenter)

Moving on to "Les Miserables". These feature Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman, both of whom have leading roles in this newest adaptation of the drama. Nothing too exciting, and Hathaway really isn't looking her normal attractive self. Hopefully the film turns out good - no one wants to be the one who shaved their head for a flop. (CELEBUZZ)

Up next, the first photo for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's new film, "Pain and Gain". This one also stars Mark Wahlberg as a pair of bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring that gets terribly out of hand. "The Rock" seems to be looking his normal self here. (Crush)

The last film we have set photos for is "The Lone Ranger". Last week it was a couple of off-camera publicity photos. This week, a few overhead shots of the town where they're filming. Nothing terribly different from any other western-themed film, but nonetheless, it's interesting to take a birds-eye, behind-the-curtain view at what we'll be seeing on film later next year. (DailyMail)

As for the set of films with new promo photos out. We'll start with "The Amazing Spider-Man". The first photo features Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. The other two have Garfield in full costume posing in front of a blank canvas. (GeekTyrant)

And then we have three promos for "The Dark Knight Rises". These photos aren't actual snapshots from the film, just completely promotional. But it's a nice fix if you're looking for something new before the films release later this summer. The pictures are incredibly stylized and barely even look real. (Collider)

On to the movie posters section. First, "Hotel Transylvania". This is the first poster released for this animated feature, which stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and Andy Samberg. The concept seems fun to me, and I'll be curious to see/hear more about this film. (Bloody Disgusting)

Next, twelve - that's right, 12 - new character posters for the upcoming "The Expendables 2". These posters look like the most fun to me, and I love seeing a handful of some of my favorite action stars back on epic action movie posters again. I'd love to own five or six of these, blow them up to like triple their size, and just line my hallway. (AMC Theaters)

Also, the newest Korean poster for its upcoming release of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". Not much featured here that we haven't seen somewhere else, but it looks very clean and sharp. I like it. (MovieWeb)

And finally, since we're already on photos anyway, here are a couple of miscellaneous movie related photos. All of the below pictures feature characters from the upcoming "The Avengers". First, it's The Hulk, gracing the cover of Muscle & Fitness Magazine. (ComingSoon) And we'll cap it off with the first official pictures of the newest members of Madame Tussauds House of Wax. Featured are Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, and while not present for the upcoming film (thanks a lot, Sony!), Spider-Man. (Examiner)

So what do you guys think? Which photos are your favorites? Any that get you any more interested in a particular project than you might have been before?
