New International Trailer for Ridley Scott's "Prometheus"

A new trailer was was release today for Ridley Scott's upcoming "Prometheus". For those of you who saw the first official trailer back in December, this isn't much new for you (actually, there's literally nothing new). But since our little blog wasn't up and running back then, and this is new now, I decided we should post it. And in my opinion, just as enticing as the first go-around. This trailer only helps reaffirm this as my most anticipated movie of 2012.

For those of you who haven't heard much about this film, here's an official synopsis:
Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Basically, we're looking at an "Alien" prequel - though officially, it isn't that. We're definitely talking the same universe though.

The cast is great - Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Guy Pearce, and Patrick Wilson. It hits theaters June 8 of this year.

I think the trailer looks great. Very dark and eerie. Tons of great imagery. And you know the suspense levels will be high. I'm so glad we're getting a Ridley Scott sci-fi movie again. Should be good!
