Photo Bomb!

Thanks for checking out the latest edition of Photo Bomb!, your weekly roundup of all movie-related photos and posters floating around the internet.

This is the kind of week I like to see. We're back to piles of photos from handfuls of different films. So we'll get things started by taking a look at new photos from "Killing Them Softly", "The World's End", "Gangster Squad", "Kick-Ass 2", "The Man With the Iron Fists", "The Hangover Part III", "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", "Anna Karenina", "A Long Way Down", "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", "Beautiful Creatures", and "RoboCop".

A few more movie posters than we've seen over the last few weeks too. New for this edition are "RoboCop", "Beautiful Creatures", "Argo", "Hitchcock", "End of Watch", "Smiley", "Cloud Atlas", "V/H/S", "Pain and Gain", "Skyfall", "42", and "Wreck-It Ralph".

Hit the jump for all of this week's newest content!

Let's start this week off with a few new ones from the upcoming crime/mob film, "Killing Them Softly". We're starting to see a lot more content hit the web recently, seemingly having new poster releases for the past three or four weeks. I like the look of this film, and I think Brad Pitt will do great in this role. The film gets its release November 30, 2012. (The Playlist)

Next up are the first images from Edgar Wright's "The World's End". Starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, this is the unofficial final chapter to Wright's Blood & Ice Cream trilogy ("Shaun of the Dead" & "Hot Fuzz"). The film centers around childhood friends finally trying to accomplish their dreams of going on a marathon pub crawl, something that avoided them in all of their youth. The film is slated for an August 2013 release. (ScreenCrush)

Though the film got pushed to January of next year, "Gangster Squad" still looks like a pretty fun period cop drama. Taking place in the 40's & 50's, this one chronicles the real life events of the LAPD's attempts to keep the mafia out of Los Angeles. The film stars Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Sean Penn, Giovanni Ribisi, Michael Pena, Anthony Mackie, and Nick Nolte. (W Magazine)

Lots of behind-the-scenes imagery for "Kick-Ass 2" from all over the place this week. Most of the notable characters make an appearance in some way or another, as well as a couple of new ones. The first installment from this franchise didn't do a ton for me, but it was still entertaining. I'll be interested to check this film out when it releases - June 28, 2013. (Just JaredDaily MailComicBookMovie)

Here are some new images from the RZA-Eli Roth-Quentin Tarantino film, "The Man With the Iron Fists". Not much here that we haven't really already seen in the trailers, but still some neat imagery. I like the premise here and really like the art direction. I think I'll be intrigued enough for a theater viewing, but this still doesn't feel like a priority quite yet. It will hit theaters November 2, 2012. (The Playlist)

Filming just started on "The Hangover Part III", and these are the first behind-the-scenes images to prove it. Director Todd Philips says this will be the last Hangover movie, and I'm hoping for more than what "The Hangover Part II" had to offer. Regardless, I have little interest in this film. It will hit theaters May of 2013. (BuzzSugar)

For all of you die-hard Hunger Games fans out there, here are the first (terribly unexciting and grainy) behind-the-scenes images for the second film, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire". For interested fans though, this is our first look at Sam Claflin, who will play the popular role of Finnick Odair. The film will look to continue this franchise's monstrous box office success next fall, when the film gets a November 22, 2013 release. (CeleBUZZ)

Here are some high-res images for this adaptation of the timeless classic, "Anna Karenina". The film stars Kiera Knightley, Jude Law, and Aaron Johnson. Word has been positive for the film so far, and we can expect this to be a big player come awards season - and not necessarily just for the tech categories, either. (HeyUGuys)

This is the first image for "A Long Way Down". The film still won't release for another year, but it stars Pierce Brosnan, Sam Neill, Aaron Paul, Rosamund Pike, and Toni Collette, and centers around a group of people who meet one New Year's Eve and form a surrogate family to help each other deal with their issues. (Collider)

As this week is Tolkien Week, (Hobbit Day is tomorrow), Peter Jackson has released a slew of new photos for his upcoming "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey". These images are also in high-definition, and look absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see all of Jackson's scenery in these movies. The film releases this December 14th, and will get two more follow-up films in the subsequent years. (USA Today)

I'm not sure I have much interest in "Beautiful Creatures", but it's detailed as a supernatural drama, and that at least has me intrigued. Plus I really like Emmy Rossum, and I want to see her become more famous. The film releases in the black hole of the movie industry, February (2013), and also stars Emma Thompson, Jeremy Irons, and Viola Davis. (Kino Gallery)

First it was "Total Recall". This week it's "DREDD". Next up, "RoboCop". The film will get an August 9, 2013 release date. I'm hoping these are just base images, and with special effects they'll turn this into something more than than a black Iron Man suit. This is not very promising in my opinion. I do like the look of the police cars though, so that's a positive. (ComingSoon)

And let's keep the "RoboCop" train moving as we take a look at our first promo poster for the film. This is just a teaser banner, but I at least like this more than the suit (ironically, this just looks to be a close-up of the suit...). Along with Joel Kinnaman in the title role, the film also impressively stars GaryOldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Jay Baruchel, and Jackie Earle Haley. (Cine1)

Also, we'll backtrack a few steps and check out the first poster for "Beautiful Creatures" as well. I like this poster enough. It isn't the most creative thing I've ever seen, but it's detailed and unique. You can also get your first look at the trailer for the film at the link the the right. It's pretty obvious that this movie will cater to the Hunger Games crowd. (Apple)

This has been on my radar as one of my most anticipated of 2012 since last year, and so far it looks to be holding up. This new poster for "Argo" isn't a poster I'd care to own or anything, but it seems to convey the proper tone. This will hit theaters for general audiences October 12, 2012. (Empire Online)

Hitchcock won't get a wide theater release until January of 2013, but it will hit a few select theaters over the coming months, enough to qualify for this awards season. We'll have to see if the film earns anything, but you'd have to think that the makeup department could get recognized, at the very least. (Flicks & Bits)

Yes, I know that "End of Watch" hits theaters today, but nonetheless, the studio still recently released a couple of new posters for the film. I've read very impressive things so far, and it looks like this is turning into a must-see for 2012. (IMP Awards)

I really don't know much about this film - and I'm guessing it probably won't amount to much - but "Smiley" just released a new poster, and at the very least, it looks gross. This horror film has to deal with urban legends and killers being summoned from the internet. Not the most classic of tales, but one that younger generations might be able to get behind. It hits theaters October 11, 2012. (Horror News)

The Wachowskis' & Tom Tykwer's romantic epic, "Cloud Atlas", just released a new poster, detailing most of its central characters. This one is a bit more messy and distracting than the first, more ambiguous poster that was released for the film, but it still seems solid enough. I like the cast, and I'm really looking forward to Tom Hanks going for more of a sci-fi role. (First Showing)

"V/H/S" has already seen its release in VOD format, but is looking to hit select theaters over the coming months. Our own Ben Foutch appreciated the film, and just for kicks, the studio released a new poster for it. Looks kind of like a snuff film poster to me; very raw. (/Film)

Who even knew Michael Bay was directing another film? Maybe most people, I don't know. But apparently his next one will be "Pain and Gain", starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson. It will revolve around a pair of bodybuilders who get unintentionally caught-up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping. Expectedly, it's listed as an action/comedy/drama. I'm reminded of some of Bay's earlier Bay Boys films as comparison to this. More than anything though, I hate this poster. This one will be released in April of next year. (Collider)

Here are a handful of new posters for "Skyfall". We have a new domestic poster, new international poster, followed up two character posters. All of this imagery looks good. Craig's last Bond film wasn't memorable in the slightest, but "Casino Royale" was one of my favorites. Maybe they're going for a one-on, one-off type thing? Let's hope. It hits theaters November 9, 2012. (SuperHeroHype)

You know I'm a sucker for sports films, and this one looks like another great adaptation. "42" will tell the life story of African American baseball player Jackie Robinson, his history-making signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and the legacy he left on the game. I'm not too familiar with Chadwick Boseman, who will be playing Robinson, but it's nice seeing Harrison Ford in there too. Also, check out the first trailer for the film at the link to the right (by the way, I generally don't care much for modern music in period films, but Jay-Z's track in this trailer felt pretty great). (Apple)

Finally, some neat posters for "Wreck-It Ralph". I'm not a big gamer, so I don't recognize most of these guys, but I do know that most of the characters present are from real video games. Along with these guys, it's been confirmed that we'll see a ton of other cameos from real video game characters in this film. My question: why haven't we seen any in the trailers? That would be the most entertaining aspect for me, seeing all of these characters from different franchises teaming-up in one film. This seems like a big miss from the marketing department in my opinion. The film gets its release November 2, 2012. (IGN)

That's what we're looking at this week. Anything in particular stand out to you?
